01 / Local-First Privacy (The Sandbox)
Cyclic Habits is built on a local-first, client-side sandbox architecture. Your habit cycles, orbital completion histories, calendar records, custom timers, and system configurations are stored securely on your device. We do not run background tracking algorithms, harvest your behavioral data, or host remote backups of your personal habit information by default.
02 / Account Synchronization & Manual Backups
When you sign in with an account (e.g., Google Login), only your settings, display preferences, and themes are automatically synchronized for a consistent multi-device experience. Your actual habit schedules, tracking logs, and milestones remain stored locally on your device and are not automatically synced. You can manually export and import your data using the in-app Backup and Restore feature.
03 / Purchase Verification & Security
Premium Lifetime Access purchases are verified through anonymous transaction tokens via secure Supabase API endpoints. We do not store or process your credit card details, banking information, or payment methods on our servers. All checkouts are handled securely by third-party payment processors.
04 / Anonymized Diagnostic Telemetry
To help improve app stability, the application may collect anonymized error reports and performance telemetry (such as crash logs related to haptic feedback, audio playback, or Clockwork Engine rendering). This data is aggregated and cannot be linked to you or your personal habit information.
05 / Data Autonomy (Right to Erasure)
Because your data lives primarily on your device, you have full control. Deleting the app, clearing the app cache, or removing your synchronized account will permanently delete all associated local data and remote configuration files. This gives you immediate and complete exercise of your right to erasure.
